Assembly Instructions + Parts Diagrams
One of my first assignments while working with On-Stage was to design product instructions for a lighting stand. They were so pleased with the results that it became the standard for the company's product assembly instructions.
No one likes receiving a new product with complicated instructions that take hours to assemble and so mission was to simplify this process by creating visually simple and comprehensive drawings that anyone could follow. I did this by physically assembling the products, taking photos of each step along the way, and then simplifying these photos into digital art (line art).
I also redesigned the company's Parts Diagrams; these are charts that show the different parts to each product.
These projects were great for exercising my layout, photography, and drawing skills.
